Leafing on stone is a specialized surface finishing technique where ultra-thin metallic leaf sheets are hand-applied over natural stone. At Stone World, our Indore workshop brings over 15 years of stone craftsmanship to this art. We apply leafing over CNC carved wall panels, home mandir backdrops, stone murals and focal walls. The metallic surface catches natural room lighting to give carved reliefs a warm, luminous quality that regular paint simply cannot match.

Proper adhesion requires disciplined stone preparation. We work with premium Indian stones such as Makrana white marble, Banswara marble, jet black granite, Jaisalmer yellow sandstone and natural slate. Our artisans clean, polish and seal the raw stone surface before brushing on specialized stone adhesives. This ensures the metallic leaf bonds firmly into every groove and bevel without peeling or bubbling over time.
Every completed project receives a protective clear coat. This clear sealant shields the golden, silver and copper finishes from humidity, household dust and daily pooja incense smoke.
